Packaging Worker

Summary

Inspects, labels, packs, and prepares products for shipment for a Business Unit(s). Coordinates department activities and training in cooperation with the Warehouse Lead.

Responsibilities

• Identifies finished products and labels while inspecting for quality, places product in boxes and applies labels and assembles for shipping
• Quarantines non-conforming product
• Performs more advanced labeling duties and job orders to ensure optimal accuracy and efficiency
• Executes all duties and responsibilities of Finisher, Associate as needed
• Inspects, labels, packs, and prepares products for shipment for a Business Unit(s).
• Coordinates department activities and training in cooperation with the Warehouse Lead.

Experience

2 years of production experience required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalency, preferred (but not required).

Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• Follows and understands established operating processes
• Able to operate with minimal direct supervision
• Able to anticipate potential issues that will need resolution
• Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve productivity levels

Physical Requirements

Lifts and / or moves up to 50 lbs
